What is a Root Canal?

A Root Canal or endodontic treatment is the procedure to repair the infected nerve in your tooth. Once the nerve inside the tooth has been injured or infected, it can continue to affect those supporting tissue as periodontal tissue and bone support. Then, this effected area will have to be deal of by either extracting the tooth, or by treatment of the root canal.

Why would a Tooth Need a Root Canal?

The causes of infected nerve are such as

– A deep decay or accidental fracture of a part of tooth can related to the nerve inside the root canal.

– A blow to the tooth may sometimes cause dead of nerve following by infection.

Hopefully, the root canal need to be done before it has gone too far and gives too much damage to the bone and surrounding tissue which can cause the utmost swelling and pain.

Regular dental examination and tooth check up once it hurt can reduce a chance to severe situation.
